Abstract

Learning outcomes are one of the essential indicators for assessing the success of the learning process. However, conventional learning methods often prove ineffective in helping students understand abstract materials. Technology-based learning media, such as Augmented Reality (AR), can be a solution to improve students' learning outcomes by providing more concrete and interactive learning experiences. This study aims to analyze the application of Android-based AR media in the IPAS subject, specifically on the theme of the human skeletal system, to improve the learning outcomes of sixth-grade students at SDN Sumbersari 2. This research employs a quantitative approach with a classroom action research (CAR) method conducted in two cycles. The subjects of the study were 16 sixth-grade students at SDN Sumbersari 2. Data were collected through learning outcome tests, observation sheets, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out using quantitative descriptive techniques to examine the improvement in learning outcomes in each cycle. The results show that the implementation of Android-based Augmented Reality media significantly improved students' learning outcomes. In the pre-cycle stage, the average score was 65.13, with a mastery level of 12.5%. After the first cycle, the average score increased to 71.93, with a mastery level of 18,75%. In the second cycle, the average score rose further to 82.84, with a mastery level of 87%. This demonstrates that Augmented Reality media provides concrete and interactive three-dimensional visualizations, helping students to understand the IPAS subject more effectively. This study concludes that the application of Android-based Augmented Reality media in the IPAS subject is effective in enhancing the learning outcomes of sixth-grade students at SDN Sumbersari 2. The use of AR media offers an engaging and relevant learning experience for elementary school students while supporting technology-based learning processes in the digital era
