Abstract

The Influence of Political Connection, Woman on Board, and Capital Structure on Financial distress (Case Study of Transportation and Logistics Sector Companies Listed in The Indonesia Stock Exchange Period 2015-2022). Skripsi. Management Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, PGRI Madiun University. Advisor: (I) Dr. Anggita Langgeng Wijaya, S.E, M.Si., Ak., CA. (II) Robby Sandhi Dessyarti S.E., M.M This study aims to determine the influence of political connections, woman on board and capital structure on financial distress. This research uses a qauatitive appoarch carried out on transportation and logistics sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2015-2022. The sampling techniqur uses Purposive Sampling so that the samples obtained are 18 companies. The research data analysis method uses Linear Regression analysis using SPSS version 25. Data analysis uses Descriptive Statsistics, Classical Assumption Tests, Multiple Linear Regression, and Hipotesis Tests. The Result of the study prove that:1) Political connection has no significant effect on financial distress. 2) Woman on board has a negative and significant effect on financial distress. 3) Capital structure has a positive and significant effect on financial distress.
