ABSTRACT Yusuf Kusuma Fajar. 2024. "Design and Construction of RPG Game "Rewrite Storyline: Legend of Timun Emas" Based on PC Platform". Thesis, Informatics Engineering Study Program, FT, Universitas PGRI Madiun. Advisor (1) Sri Anardani, S.Kom., M.T, Advisor (2) Yoga Prisma Yuda, S.Kom., M.Kom. An RPG game is a form of entertainment created and operated with specific rules to achieve victory or enjoyment. This research aims to develop an RPG game with a concept that focuses on the storyline. The story featured in this game is a folk tale titled "The Legend of Timun Emas." The development method used in this research is the waterfall method, and the design method employs the UML model. The game is built using the RPG MAKER MV game engine, which is specialized for creating RPG-type games. This research successfully created an RPG game titled "Rewrite Storyline: The Legend of Timun Emas." The results of this research demonstrate that RPG games can be used as a medium to narrate regional folk tales.
