Abstract

The Effect of Gender Diversity and Free Cash Flow towards Dividend Policy with Firm Size as a Moderating Variable (Study of Mining Companies Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2020-2022 Period). The aim of this study was to determine the Effect of Gender Diversity and Free Cash Flow towards Dividend Policy with Firm Size as a moderating variable and whether Firm Size could moderate Gender Diversity on Dividend Policy. The population in this study were Mining Companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2020-2022 Period with a population of 84 companies. The sampling technique used purposive sampling so sample of 46 companies was obtained. This study used secondary data in the form of Annual Reports and Financial Reports which could be downloaded from the www.idx.co.id page and the company's website. The research method used was a quantitative approach using multiple linear regression analysis and using the help of the SPSS version 24 program. The results of this study are: gender diversity has no effect towards dividend policy in the mining sector listed on the IDX for the 2020-2022 period. Free cash flow has a significant positive effect towards dividend policy in the mining sector listed on the IDX for the 2020-2022 period. Firm size cannot moderate the effect of gender diversity towards dividend policy in the mining sector listed on the IDX for the 2020-2022 period. Firm size cannot moderate the effect of free cash flow towards dividend policy in the mining sector listed on the IDX for the 2020-2022 period.
