Abstract

In the field of education, learning media play a crucial role in aiding teachers in delivering material to students. The advancement of information technology has created various practical products that can enhance effectiveness and optimality, particularly in the educational context. This study aims to design an Android-based science learning media for 7th grade students at SMP 1 Karangrejo. The learning media focus on the topics of the Earth and the solar system. The development method used by the researcher is ADDIE, which involves several sequential stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The development process utilizes the Unity platform to create an interactive and engaging application for students. The application includes features such as text, images, and interactive videos, as well as quizzes to test students' understanding. Implementation is carried out on devices with a minimum operating system of Android 5.0. The effectiveness of the application is evaluated through a questionnaire evaluation. Blackbox testing shows that all features function normally, and the results of the student questionnaire evaluation, which provided ratings of 4 and 5, indicate their satisfaction with using this application and can serve as a reference for the development of similar learning media in the future.
