Madiun: Master of Social Sciences Education Study Program. Faculty of Postgraduate Studies, PGRI Madiun University. Supervisor (I) (II) Keywords : Sociology Learning, Character Building, Social Attitudes In the learning process, especially in the subject of Sociology, there are materials to improve the character and social attitude of students to be better. The lessons obtained are related to daily life, so that if the learning is carried out well, the character of the student will be formed and students who have a bad character can improve by participating in the Sociology lesson. The focus of this research is on character formation and fostering social attitudes in Kejar Package C students through the implementation of sociology learning socialization and personality formation materials at SKB Ponorogo. This study aims to find out the implementation of sociology learning in character formation and fostering social attitudes, forms of character and social attitudes that emerge and supporting/inhibiting factors in character formation and fostering social attitudes of students pursuing Package C at SKB Ponorogo. Based on the title of the research taken, therefore this research is a qualitative research. Qualitative research is used because it can reveal in-depth data on the implementation of sociology learning on character formation and fostering social attitudes in SKB Ponorogo. Researchers collect data through tests or assessments of attitudes, interviews, and direct observation of the research object. From the research carried out, the results were obtained that the implementation of Sociology learning at SKB Ponorogo for students pursuing package C succeeded in shaping character and fostering social attitudes through the insertion of social values in the material, optimal learning methods, and the formation of study groups. The results can be seen from the honesty, discipline, tolerance, responsibility, confidence, and strong social interaction among students. Supporting factors include the role of teachers, school regulations, good relations with the community, and school programs, while inhibiting factors include family conditions, inadequate infrastructure, and distance learning.
