Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of the discovery learning model assisted by fraction box media on the mathematics learning outcomes of fifth grade students at Sdit Ulil Albab. This research is a type of quantitative research. This research stage includes several stages, namely data collection, data analysis, and drawing conclusions. Data collection uses test and documentation methods. Based on the results of research that has been carried out, it shows that the results of this research indicate that there is an influence of the discovery learning model. The conclusion that can be drawn from the results of the analysis and discussion above shows that students' mathematics learning outcomes using the discovery learning model are higher than with conventional learning media. This shows that the discovery learning model influences the mathematics learning outcomes of class V students at SDIT Ulil Albab Krajan, Magetan Regency. In addition, the increase in student learning outcomes shows that discovery learning can help students improve their cognitive skills and processes, thereby increasing students' accuracy and high-level thinking skills.
