Abstract

This research aims to improve students' multiplication calculation skills in class II mathematics subjects using the Jarimatika method at SDN 01 Mojorejo. The method used in this research uses classroom action research (PTK). The techniques in this research are planning, implementation and results. The results of the conclusion show that using the Jarimatics method can improve students' multiplication calculation skills. This shows that there is evidence of an increase in learning outcomes in the first cycle which obtained the sufficient category, then in the second cycle there was an increase in the good category. Research using the Jarimatics method has been proven to improve students' numeracy skills, through student learning outcomes both individually and classically.
