Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model with Scratch media on the results of learning science in students of SDN 01 Nambangan Lor, Madiun City. This study uses a quantitative approach. The research method used is quasi-experimental (Quasi Experiment). The sample in this study were students of class IV A and class IV B SDN 01 Nambangan Lor totaling 48 students. The data collection technique in the study was a test. The data analysis techniques in this study were normality test, homogeneity test, balance test, and hypothesis test. The results showed that the Post-test results of control class students using direct learning models with PowerPoint media obtained an average value of 79.52, while the Post-test results of students in the experimental class using the Problem Based Learning model with Scratch media obtained an average value of 85.2. From the data analysis that has been done, it can be seen that the t count value> t table, namely 2.763> 2.015. These results are also seen from the Independent Sample Test with Sig. (2-tailed) is 0.008 <0.05. From the results obtained, it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, proving that there is a significant influence of the use of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model with Scratch media on the results of learning science in students of SDN 01 Nambangan Lor, Madiun City.
