Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the effect of using the project based learning (PjBL) model with earthedu media on science learning outcomes for students at SDN 01 Nambangan Lor, Madiun City. This research uses a quantitative type of research using a quasi-experimental research method (Quasi Experiment). The samples in this study were class VA with a total of 18 students and class VB with a total of 22 students. The data collection technique in this research uses test techniques. Data analysis techniques in this research are normality test, homogeneity test, balance test and hypothesis test. The results of the research and discussion show that the post-test results of students in the control class using the conventional model obtained an average score of 73.33, while the post-test results of students in the experimental class who used the project based learning (PjBL) model with earthedu media obtained an average score 82.27. From the data analysis that has been carried out, it can be seen that the calculated t value > t table is 2.837 > 2.024. These results can also be seen from the Independent Sample Test with Sig. (2-tailed) is 0.007 < 0.05. From the results obtained, it can be concluded that Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted, proving that there is a significant influence from the use of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model with EarthEdu media on the science and science learning outcomes of class V students at SDN 01 Nambangan Lor, Madiun City.
