Abstract

Social Media Addiction and Narcissistic Behavior on FoMO in Guidance and Counseling study programs at PGRI Madiun University The purpose of this study was to determine how social media addiction and narcissistic traits affect FoMO in students enrolled in the Guidance and Counseling study program at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, PGRI Madiun University. This study used a quantitative approach the population in this study was 170 students. Sampling using purposive sampling. The collection technique is a questionnaire containing written questions. The data obtained was then analyzed using the help of SPSS v.29. The results of this study show that in the variable (X1) Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted in the Narcissistic Behavior variable (X2). This shows that among students of the Guidance and Counseling Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, PGRI Madiun University, there is a positive and partially significant relationship between the Narcissistic Behavior (X2) variable and Fear of Missing Out (FoMO).
