Keywords: writing, poetry, methods, outdoor education, and visual media This study aims to describe and explain (1) the implementation of learning to write poetry using the outdoor education method assisted by visual media for fifth-grade students of Nguri 2 Public Elementary School, Lembeyan District, Magetan Regency and (2) the learning outcomes in learning to write poetry using the outdoor education method assisted by visual media for fifth-grade students of Nguri 2 Public Elementary School, Lembeyan District, Magetan Regency. This study uses a qualitative research approach with a descriptive method. The results of this study are (1) the application of the outdoor education method assisted by visual media using visual media in writing poetry for fifth-grade students of Nguri 2 Public Elementary School, Lembeyan District, Magetan Regency runs as planned. Learning to write narrative paragraphs by applying the outdoor education method assisted by visual media carried out by teachers follows the learning steps that have been designed, and (2) the learning outcomes of applying the outdoor education method assisted by visual media using visual media in writing poetry for fifth-grade students of Nguri 2 Public Elementary School, Lembeyan District, Magetan Regency in learning to write poetry. This is proven by the average value obtained after the application of the outdoor education method assisted by visual media using visual media is at 81.80.
