Abstract
This development research produced a Student Worksheet (LKPD) based on a cooperative learning model of role-playing type assisted by concrete props in the form of play money and real merchandise for social arithmetic material for grade VII at SMP Negeri 1 Mejayan, which was designed using the ADDIE model to address the challenge of low conceptual understanding due to the dominance of conventional learning methods. The developed product has gone through a series of expert validations with a score of 92.77% (very valid category) and its practicality was tested through a questionnaire of educator and student responses with a score of 91.41% (very practical category), so that this media is proven to be very easy to operate to support conducive classroom management. Based on the results of the N-Gain analysis of 0.69, this media is declared quite effective in improving students' understanding of mathematical concepts, where active involvement in tactile economic transaction simulations is proven to be able to transform students' learning methods from simply memorizing formulas to building deep, contextual, and meaningful relational understanding for their financial literacy in real life.
