Improving Speaking Skills Using Real Object Learning Media in the Indonesian Language Subject for Fourth Grade Students of SD Negeri 1 Jurug, Sooko District, Ponorogo Regency. Theses. Keywords: learning, speaking, and real object media This study aims to describe and explain (1) the application of speaking skills learning using real objects as learning media for fourth-grade students of SD Negeri 1 Jurug, Sooko District, Ponorogo Regency and (2) student learning outcomes in speaking skills learning using real objects as learning media for fourth-grade students of SD Negeri 1 Jurug, Sooko District, Ponorogo Regency. This study is a classroom action research using two cycles. The results of this study are (1) real objects as media are very effective for use in efforts to improve speaking skills for fourth-grade students of SD Negeri 1 Jurug, Sooko District, Ponorogo Regency. This is done to help students improve their speaking skills by applying active student learning strategies, namely the demonstration method. The application of the demonstration method assisted by real objects as media is an appropriate method used in learning with the aim of providing skills, reducing the use of monotonous language, and helping students to make it easier to understand clearly about a process or activity because it is presented in the form of a demonstration and uses concrete objects so that it is more interesting and efficient, and (2) student learning outcomes according to the data in the research results state that a total of 5 students or 84% of the total number of 6 students have completed the learning, while students who have not completed the learning are 1 student or 16% of the total number of 6 students. This shows that the learning that has been implemented has been good. The average value of students is also 82.11% which reaches the KKM value of ≥70. So the researcher assumes that the improvement of speaking skills using real objects media in grade IV students of SD Negeri 1 Jurug, Sooko District, Ponorogo Regency in cycle II resulted in a significant increase and it can be said that this action has been successful.
