Abstract
This study aims to describe (1) the application of the copy the master method assisted by audio visual media can improve the skills of writing pantun of grade IV students of SDN Ngadiluhur I, Balen District, Bojonegoro Regency, and (2) the learning outcomes of grade IV students of SDN Ngadiluhur I, Balen District, Bojonegoro Regency in learning to write pantun using the copy the master method assisted by audio visual media. This study is a classroom action research with two research cycles. The results of this study are (1) the application of the copy the master method assisted by audio visual media can improve the skills of writing pantun of grade VI students of SDN Ngadiluhur I, Balen District, Bojonegoro Regency. This is proven by the teacher being able to improve the quality of learning by directing and guiding students and providing maximum motivation in the process of learning to write pantun, and besides that, the seriousness and activeness of students and the emergence of courage to ask about material that has not been understood which is shown by students from the beginning to the end of the process of learning to write pantun using the pantun master, and (2) the learning outcomes of grade IV students of SDN Ngadiluhur I, Balen District, Bojonegoro Regency in writing pantun will increase if using the copy the master method assisted by audio visual media. This is proven in cycle I, the researcher has not achieved success which is indicated by the test results which only reached 47,62%. In cycle II, the research has been successfully improved, this can be seen in the increase in the test results process reaching 85,72%.
