Abstract
This study aims to: (1) determine the magnitude of the influence of the picture and picture method on the story writing ability of fifth-grade students of elementary schools in Cluster 1, Margomulyo District, Bojonegoro; (2) determine the magnitude of the influence of logical thinking skills on the story writing ability of fifth-grade students of elementary schools in Cluster 1, Margomulyo District, Bojonegoro; (3) determine the magnitude of the interaction effect between the use of the picture and picture method and logical thinking skills on the story writing ability of fifth-grade students of elementary schools in Cluster 1, Margomulyo District, Bojonegoro. The study was conducted in fifth-grade students of elementary schools in Cluster 1, Margomulyo District, Bojonegoro in the 2025/2026 academic year using a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental research design. Data collection techniques used tests and questionnaires, and data analysis techniques used two-way ANOVA statistical techniques. The results of the study concluded: (1) There is a significant influence of the use of the Picture and Picture Method on the ability to write narrative texts of Class V students of SDN in Cluster 1, Margomulyo District, Bojonegoro in the 2025/2026 Academic Year; (2) There is a significant influence of Logical Thinking Ability on the ability to write descriptive texts of Class V students of SDN in Cluster 1, Margomulyo District, Bojonegoro in the 2025/2026 Academic Year; (3) There is an interaction between the Picture and Picture Method and Logical Thinking Ability in influencing the ability to write descriptive texts of Class V students of SDN in Cluster 1, Margomulyo District, Bojonegoro in the 2025/2026 Academic Year.
