Abstract

This study has the following objectives: (1) To determine the influence of the use of the CIRC type Cooperative learning model on the ability to write short stories of grade IV students of SD Se cluster 2, Margomulyo district in the 2025/2026 academic year; (2) To determine the influence of critical thinking skills on the ability to write short stories of grade IV students of SD Se cluster 2, Margomulyo district in the 2025/2026 academic year; (3) To determine the interaction between the use of the CIRC type Cooperative learning model and critical thinking skills in influencing the ability to write short stories of grade IV students of SD Se cluster 2, Margomulyo district 1 in the 2025/2026 academic year. The study was conducted in Class IV of SD Se Gugus 2, Margomulyo District, Bojonegoro, in the 2025/2026 Academic Year, using a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental research design. The data collection technique used tests and questionnaires, and the data analysis technique used two-way ANOVA statistical techniques. The results of the study concluded: (1) There is a significant influence of the use of the CIRC Type Cooperative Learning Model on the ability to write short stories of Class IV students of Elementary Schools in Cluster 2, Margomulyo District, Bojonegoro Regency in the 2025/2026 Academic Year. (2) There is a significant influence of critical thinking skills on the ability to write short stories of Class V students of Elementary Schools in Cluster 2, Margomulyo District, Bojonegoro Regency in the 2025/2026 Academic Year. (3) There is an interaction between the CIRC Type Cooperative Learning Model and critical thinking skills in influencing the ability to write descriptive texts of Class IV students of Elementary Schools in Cluster 2, Margomulyo District, Bojonegoro Regency in the 2025/2026 Academic Year.
