Madiun: Master's Program in Social Sciences Education, Graduate School, PGRI University Madiun. Advisor (I) Prof. Dr. H. Parji, M.Pd. Advisor (II) Prof. Dr. Muhammad Hanif, MM. M.Pd Keywords: Democratic Character, Learning Outcomes, Social Studies, Talking Stick This study aims to: (1) Explain and apply the Talking Stick method in improving the democratic character and social studies learning outcomes of third-grade students at SDN 02 Manisrejo Madiun; (2) Determine the improvement in the democratic character of third-grade students at SDN 02 Manisrejo Madiun; (3) To determine the improvement in social studies learning outcomes of third-grade students at SDN 02 Manisrejo Madiun. This research is classroom action research. The stages of this research were arranged starting from the pre-cycle stage, cycle I, to cycle II. The research subjects were third-grade students at SDN 02 Manisrejo, Madiun City. Based on the data analysis, the following results were obtained: (1). The application of the Talking Stick method proved to be effective as a pedagogical engineering that successfully transformed the social studies learning ecology. (2). The improvement in students' democratic character is the result of an evolutionary process that moves from structured behavioral change to the internalization of values, and (3). The significant improvement in social studies learning outcomes, particularly in terms of cognition, is mainly mediated by the creation of a learning environment that facilitates deep processing of information.
