Abstract

Teaching poetry writing to fifth-grade students at SDN Babadan 3 elementary school using the STAD (Student Teams Achievement Divisions) Learning Model and audio-visual media. This study aims to: (1) Identify the implementation of poetry writing in the STAD (Student Teams Achievement Divisions) Learning Model with audio-visual media in fifth grade students at SDN Babadan 3 Elementary School, Paron District, Ngawi Regency, in the 2024-2025 academic year. (2) To describe the results of poetry writing learning by applying the STAD (Student Teams Achievement Divisions) Learning Model and audio-visual media to fifth-grade students at SDN Babadan 3 Elementary School, Paron District, Ngawi Regency, in the 2024-2025 academic year. (3) To identify the strengths and weaknesses of the STAD (Student Teams Achievement Divisions) Learning Model in teaching poetry writing using audio-visual media to fifth-grade students at SDN Babadan 3 Elementary School, Paron District, Ngawi Regency, in the 2024-2025 academic year. The method used in this study was a qualitative case study approach. Primary and secondary data sources were used. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation. Data validity was ensured through triangulation of sources. The Miles Huberman model was used, which consists of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study on the implementation of the STAD (Student Teams Achievement Divisions) learning model in writing poetry using audio-visual media showed satisfactory results. Students were interested in the learning process, and it had a significant impact on their learning outcomes, which improved significantly.
