Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of regional original income and capital expenditure on the financial performance of regional governments with balancing funds as a moderating variable in east java province. This study uses a quantitative approach with secondary data obtained from the ministry of finance's website, with a total of 190 samples. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS version 24. The results show that regional original income, capital expenditure, the interaction between regional original income and balancing funds, and the interaction between capital expenditure and balancing funds have a significant effect.
