Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of asset structure and business risk on capital structure, with managerial ownership as a moderating variable. This study was conducted on property and real estate companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2021-2024 period. The research method used was quantitative, utilizing secondary data from the annual financial reports of property and real estate companies listed on the IDX. This study employed a purposive sampling method, resulting in a final sample of 196 data samples for analysis. Moderate Regression Analysis (MRA) was used for data analysis, and IBM SPSS Statistical 24 was used. The results indicate that asset structure has a significant positive effect on capital structure, while business risk has no effect. Managerial ownership moderates the effect of asset structure on capital structure, but does not moderate the relationship between business risk and capital structure.
