Abstract
The aim of this study was to determine the effect of using Kahoot learning media on improving students' HOTS abilities in the 4th grade science subject. This research design uses the One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. This research design uses a pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest design. This research was conducted on a single study without a comparison group and used a pretest before treatment. The research being conducted is a quantitative experimental study. This study was designed to see the effect of using Kahoot learning media on HOTS abilities in the 4th grade science subject. Thus it can be seen and concluded that there is a significant difference between the experimental class and the control class, meaning that students who receive HOTS-based learning media treatment by using the Kahoot application in the science subject are more influential. There are changes when compared to using the Kahoot application in the science subject of grade 4 students of State Elementary School 03 Kanigoro, the science learning outcomes achieved with HOTS based learning media are superior and more efficient. The difference in the average value of the experimental class is greater than the learning outcomes of the control class. Kata Kunci : HOTS
