Abstract
This research is motivated by the low discipline of students at SMK Negeri 1 Wonoasri, which is indicated by lateness, lack of participation, and disobedience to rules. Based on the importance of character formation and a disciplined attitude in supporting students' learning success, this study aims to determine the effect of participation in Bina Taruna and social interaction on the learning discipline of class X PFL students at SMK Negeri 1 Wonoasri for the 2024/2025 academic year. This research employs a quantitative approach with a correlational method. The population of the study consists of all students in class X PFL, with a sample of 61 students selected through simple random sampling techniques. Data collection was carried out using a Likert scale questionnaire. Validity and reliability tests were conducted to ensure the quality of the instruments. The data was analyzed using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS version 24. The results show that (1) Participation in Bina Taruna has a significant impact on learning discipline (p = 0.010), (2) social interaction has a significant impact on learning discipline (p = 0.000), and (3) both factors simultaneously have a significant impact on learning discipline (p = 0.000) with an R Square value of 0.631. This means that both variables contribute 63% to students' learning discipline. These findings imply that character-building programs through youth activities and positive social interactions can be an effective strategy to enhance students' learning discipline.
