Abstract
The conceptual understanding of flat-sided solid geometry is often a challenge in mathematics learning because its abstract nature makes it difficult to visualize 3D objects. This study aims to develop Interactive Augmented Reality media with a Traditional Cuisine context that is valid, practical, and effective in enhancing students' conceptual understanding of flat-sided solid geometry. The research method used is Research and Development with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The subjects of this study were 9 students in a limited trial and 22 students in a field trial. The data collection instruments included expert validation sheets, student response questionnaires, and conceptual understanding test questions. The data obtained were analyzed descriptively and quantitatively. The results show that the developed Interactive Augmented Reality media has a validity level of 88.02% in the "very valid" category. The practicality of the Interactive Augmented Reality media received a positive response through student response questionnaires, with a percentage of 79.30% in the limited trial and 86.57% in the field trial. From the effectiveness aspect, there was a significant increase in students' conceptual understanding, with an effectiveness percentage of 69.99% (N-Gain 0.70) in the limited trial and 71.84% (N-Gain 0.72) in the field trial. These results indicate that the developed Interactive Augmented Reality media with a Traditional Cuisine context meets the criteria of being valid, practical, and effective, making it suitable for use as an innovative learning medium to improve students' conceptual understanding of flat-sided solid geometry in mathematics learning.
