Abstract

Along with the rapid development of technology, social media such as TikTok has become a part of life, offering a platform for self-expression and social interaction. However, on the other hand, the potential for risks such as cyberbullying has also increased. This study aims to determine the influence between the use of TikTok and the phenomenon of cyberbullying among students. The research subjects were at SDN 03 Klegen with 70 students as respondents. This study used an ex post facto quantitative approach to analyze data on the frequency of TikTok use and the incidence of cyberbullying in the student population. The instrument used was a questionnaire. The results of the study with a significant value of 0.000 (p <0.05) showed an influence between the use of TikTok and a decrease in cyberbullying, indicating that this platform may have positive potential as a means of expression or interaction that can reduce cyberbullying behavior. These findings are expected to provide guidance for schools, students, parents, and further researchers in utilizing social media positively and preventing cyberbullying.
