M.Pd (II) Melik Budiarti, S.Sos., M.A Keywords: STAD type cooperative learning, PADIDU media, cognitive learning outcomes Cognitive learning outcomes are students' achievements in the realm of knowledge, understanding, and logical thinking skills after following the learning process. Students' cognitive learning outcomes in mathematics learning, especially on data material, are still relatively low. The purpose of this study was to determine the improvement in cognitive learning outcomes through the application of the STAD type cooperative learning model assisted by PADIDU media in fifth grade students in Elementary School. The type of research used was Classroom Action Research (CAR). The subjects in this study were 10 students. Data collection techniques used tests, observation, and documentation. The results showed that in the pre-cycle the percentage of completeness was 10%, in the first cycle it increased to 70%, and in the second cycle it reached 90%. This shows that the application of the STAD type cooperative learning model assisted by PADIDU media can improve the cognitive learning outcomes of fifth grade students in data presentation material.
