Abstract
Media pembelajaran digital memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap proses pembelajaran, karena membantu peserta didik dalam memahami materi dan meningkatkan minat belajar. Media digital yang dipadukan dengan media konkret mempermudah pemahaman konsep abstrak dan mendukung pengembangan keterampilan abad ke-21, yang dikenal dengan istilah 4C (Creativity, Critical thinking, Collaboration, Communication). Media Pembelajaran yang digunakan guru di kelas masih bersifat konvensional dengan metode ceramah sehingga murid cepat bosan sehingga hasil pembelajaran tidak maksimal. Ironisnya, beberapa materi yang diajarkan di kelas 5 dalam konsep pembelajaran Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial (IPAS) bersifat abstrak. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kebutuhan akan media pembelajaran yang inovatif, mengeksplorasi potensi pengembangan media smartbox berbasis Qr Code dalam mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial (IPAS) bagi siswa kelas 5 di sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development-R&D) dengan model penelitian ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Populasi dan sampel dalam penelitian ini berupa 14 siswa di SDN Sumberbendo 04 yang diambil mengacu pada teknik sampling jenuh (Saturation Sampling/Census). Pengumpulan data responden menggunakan wawancara, angket atau kuisioner, dan observasi. Hasil penelitian dan pengembangan menunjukkan media Smartbox berbasis Qr Code pada mata pelajaran IPAS di kelas 5 SDN Sumberbendo 04 terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan minat dan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi flora dan fauna. Berdasarkan hasil validasi dari ahli materi, media, dan bahasa menunjukkan bahwa media ini layak digunakan dengan persentase kelayakan masing-masing 76%, 88%, dan 85,71%. Hasil angket respon dari guru dan siswa menunjukkan media ini layak digunakan dengan persentase kelayakan masing-masing 89% dan 94%, sehingga dapat dijadikan alternatif media pembelajaran yang inovatif dan menarik. Penelitian ini memiliki keterbatasan dalam lingkup uji coba yang bersifat terbatas. Oleh karena itu, peneliti selanjutnya disarankan untuk mengembangkan media sejenis dengan cakupan materi yang lebih luas dan melibatkan subjek penelitian yang lebih beragam, guna mengukur efektivitas secara lebih komprehensif. Digital media combined with concrete media facilitates the understanding of abstract concepts and supports the development of 21st-century skills, known as the 4Cs (Creativity, Critical thinking, Collaboration, Communication). Learning media used by teachers in the classroom is still conventional with lecture methods so that students quickly get bored so that learning outcomes are not optimal. Ironically, some of the materials taught in grade 5 in the Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) learning concept are abstract. Therefore, this study aims to identify the need for innovative learning media, explore the potential for developing QR Code-based smartbox media in Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) subjects for grade 5 students in elementary schools. This study uses the type of research and development (R&D) with the ADDIE research model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The population and sample in this study were 14 students at SDN Sumberbendo 04 who were taken referring to the saturation sampling technique (Saturation Sampling/Census).Respondent data collection used interviews, questionnaires, and observations. The results of research and development show that the QR Code-based Smartbox media in the Science subject in grade 5 of SDN Sumberbendo 04 has proven effective in increasing students' interest and understanding of flora and fauna material. Based on the validation results from material, media, and language experts, it shows that this media is suitable for use with a feasibility percentage of 76%, 88%, and 85.71%, respectively. The results of the questionnaire responses from teachers and students show that this media is suitable for use with a feasibility percentage of 89% and 94%, respectively, so it can be used as an alternative innovative and interesting learning media. This study has limitations in the limited scope of the trial. Therefore, further researchers are advised to develop similar media with a wider scope of material and involving more diverse research subjects, in order to measure effectiveness more comprehensively.
