Supervisor I: Dr. Dwi Setyadi, M.M, Supervisor II: Dr. Dwi Rohman Soleh, S.S., M.Pd. Keywords: Digital Literacy, Folktales, Listening Skills, Learning Media, Elementary School. This research is motivated by the low listening skills of elementary school students in understanding oral information accurately. Conventional teaching methods that lack the use of technology make students less focused and less trained in listening. Therefore, an innovative and technology-relevant learning strategy is needed, one of which is the implementation of digital literacy strategies based on folktales. The objective of this study is to improve students’ listening skills and to describe the process and outcomes of implementing digital literacy strategies based on folktales. This study employs a qualitative approach with a classroom action research (CAR) design conducted in two cycles. The subjects were fifth-grade students of SD Negeri 1 Sumberdadi, Kabupaten Trenggalek. Data were collected through observation, interviews, listening tests, and documentation. The data were analyzed using descriptive qualitative techniques with the Miles and Huberman interactive model. The findings indicate that the implementation of digital literacy strategies based on folktales significantly improves students’ listening skills. Students become more focused in listening, are able to understand the content of the stories well, and can identify important information from the listened texts. In addition, students show high enthusiasm as the learning process utilizes engaging and easily accessible digital media. In conclusion, digital literacy strategies based on folktales are effective in improving listening skills of fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 1 Sumberdadi, Kabupaten Trenggalek.
