Abstract

This study aims to develop a Digital Diorama based on Assemblr Edu and to determine its suitability as a science learning medium for fourth-grade students at SDN Jiwan 02. This study employs the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, which includes the stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The research subjects consisted of 11 fourth-grade students at SDN Jiwan 02. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and questionnaires. Research data were obtained through validation by subject matter experts, media experts, and language experts, as well as feedback from teachers and students, and were then analyzed using quantitative descriptive techniques in the form of percentages. The results showed that the Assemblr Edu-based Digital Diorama media received a feasibility percentage of 95.83% from subject matter experts (rated “highly feasible”), 78.85% from media experts (rated “feasible”), and 88.46% from language experts (rated “highly feasible”). Student feedback yielded a percentage of 90.60%, and teacher feedback yielded 87.50%, both falling into the “highly feasible” category. Overall, the teaching material received an average suitability rating of 88.25%, classified as “highly suitable.” Thus, the Assemblr Edu-based Digital Diorama is deemed highly suitable for use as a teaching tool in science education on the topic of the Solar System for elementary school students.
