Abstract
The teaching of Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) in the fifth grade at SDN Wonorejo 01 is still dominated by lecture-based methods and conventional learning resources, making it difficult for students to understand the “How My Indonesia Looks” curriculum, particularly the concept of maps. This study aims to develop and test the feasibility of a web-based interactive learning medium created using Articulate Storyline, named GEOBI (Geography of “How My Indonesia Looks”). The study employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The research subjects consisted of 16 students and one fifth-grade teacher at SDN Wonorejo 01. Data were collected through questionnaires, observations, and interviews, and then analyzed using quantitative descriptive methods. The GEOBI media contains five map subtopics, three instructional videos, three levels of interactive games, and 20 evaluation questions. Validation results showed very high feasibility: 89.4% from media experts, 82.5% from content experts, 100% from language experts, and 95.2% from practitioners, with a combined average of 91.7%. Product testing yielded student response rates of 88.4% (individual), 90.3% (small groups), and 93% (field), as well as a teacher response rate of 85.8%, all of which were categorized as highly suitable. This Articulate Storyline-based interactive learning medium has proven to be suitable for use as an alternative IPAS learning medium that is interactive, easily accessible, and capable of increasing the learning motivation of fifth-grade elementary school students.
