Abstract

IPAS instruction in elementary schools is still dominated by lecture methods, making it difficult for students to grasp abstract concepts such as energy transformation. This study aims to develop a web-based learning medium titled "Energy Hero Adventure" using a Deep Learning approach and to evaluate its feasibility. The study employs the Borg and Gall Research and Development (R&D) model, which consists of ten stages. The research subjects were fourth-grade students at SDN 01 Manisrejo, comprising a total of 44 students divided into three trial phases. Data collection instruments included expert validation sheets and Likert-scale questionnaires to gather feedback from teachers and students. Validation results showed scores of 83.5% from the subject matter expert, 87.27% from the media expert, and 92% from the language expert; all were categorized as highly feasible. The teacher response questionnaire yielded a score of 90.4%, while student responses during the individual, main field, and operational trials scored 94.29%, 95.68%, and 93.48%, respectively. The "Energy Hero Adventure" medium is considered highly suitable for use in teaching the energy transformation topic within the elementary school IPAS curriculum.
