Abstract

This study employed a quantitative approach using a correlational research design. The research subjects were sixth-grade students of SDN Dawung 03, Jogorogo District, Ngawi Regency. Data were collected through a self-confidence questionnaire and learning outcome tests. The data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical techniques to examine the relationship and effect of self-confidence on students’ learning outcomes. The results indicate that self-confidence has a significant effect on improving students’ learning outcomes. Students with higher levels of self-confidence tend to demonstrate greater learning engagement, more confidence in asking and answering questions, and higher learning outcomes compared to students with lower self-confidence.
