Improving Narrative Paragraph Writing Skills Using Guided Question Technique Assisted by Film Media for Grade V Students of SDN 1 Sawahan, Lengkong District, Nganjuk Regency. Theses. Keywords: writing, narrative, and guided inquiry This study aims to describe and explain (1) the use of guided question techniques can improve learning to write narrative paragraphs for fifth grade students of SDN 1 Sawahan, Lengkong District, Nganjuk Regency, and (2) the learning outcomes of fifth grade students of SDN 1 Sawahan, Lengkong District, Nganjuk Regency in learning to write narrative paragraphs using guided question techniques. This study is a classroom action research with two research cycles. The results of this study are (1) there is an increase in narrative paragraph writing skills using guided question techniques through film media for fifth grade students of SDN 1 Sawahan, Lengkong District, Nganjuk Regency. This is proven by the learning process of narrative paragraph writing skills using guided question techniques, namely: (a) the intensity of the internalization process of growing students' interest in writing narrative paragraphs, (b) the conduciveness of the discussion process to determine the elements contained in narrative paragraphs, (c) the intensity of the process of students writing narrative paragraphs using guided question techniques, (d) whether or not the condition of students is conducive during the process of editing narrative paragraphs, (e) the creation of a reflective atmosphere so that students can realize the shortcomings during the learning process and know what to do after the learning process, and (2) The learning outcomes of class V students of SDN 1 Sawahan, Lengkong District, Nganjuk Regency in writing narrative paragraphs have increased after participating in learning using guided question techniques. The increase in narrative paragraph writing skills can be seen in the test and non-test results. The test results showed an average class score in cycle I of 67.27 with a sufficient category. in cycle II the average score of students in writing narrative paragraphs increased to 78.57 with a good category, all students also achieved the research target of 75. This shows an increase in the average score of class VII students with learning to write narrative paragraphs with guided question techniques.
