Madiun: Magister Study Program in Indonesian Language and Literature Education, Graduate Program, Universitas PGRI Madiun. Advisor Dr. Dwi Setiyadi, M.M., Co-Advisor Dr. Sigit Ricahyono, S.S. M.Pd. Keywords: Learning Model, Project-Based Learning, Poetry Writing This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Project-Based Learning Model in teaching poetry writing to fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 1 Tritik. This study employed a qualitative descriptive model with a phenomenological research design. This approach and research design were chosen in order to describe in detail the implementation of the Project-Based Learning Model in poetry writing instruction for fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 1 Tritik. The results of the study indicate, first, that the teacher’s steps in implementing learning using the Project-Based Learning Model were carried out properly, as reflected in the qualification scores given. The learning process using the Project-Based Learning Model in teaching poetry consisted of several stages, beginning with posing essential questions, designing project planning, creating a schedule, monitoring activities, testing results, and conducting evaluations. Second, the results of the students’ abilities showed good or satisfactory achievement. The conclusion of this study is that the fifth-grade teacher successfully implemented the Project-Based Learning Model, resulting in a project in the form of poetry products produced by all students, with an overall good average score.
