Indonesian Master of Language and Literature Education Study Program, Post Graduate Program, Universitas PGRI Madiun, Advisor (I) Dr. Bambang Eko Hari Cahyono, M.Pd.; (II) Dr. Endang Sri Maruti, M.Pd. Keywords: composing, methods, demonstrations, media, and collages This study aims to describe and explain (1) the application of the collage-assisted demonstration method in writing learning for class III students of SDN Sugihwaras 1, Ngraho District, Bojonegoro Regency, (2) the activities of class III students of SDN Sugihwaras 1, Ngraho District, Bojonegoro Regency in writing learning using the collage-assisted demonstration method. This study is a classroom action research using two cycles. The results of this study are (1) the application of the collage-assisted demonstration method in writing learning for class III students of SDN Sugihwaras 1, Ngraho District, Bojonegoro Regency has increased. This is evidenced by the average value of students in cycle I of 68.5 and in cycle II the average value of students was 82, (2) The results of student activity increased after using the demonstration method assisted by collage image media. The results of the questionnaire on student responses to composition lessons using the demonstration method assisted by collage image media increased, they liked writing lessons because they were more interesting, making them enthusiastic about learning and not boring. Based on the results of observations through the observation sheet, student activity during the learning process increased from each cycle, from the five aspects observed, namely, perseverance in making collages, neatness in making collages, student activity in asking questions, the suitability of the contents of the composition with the collage images and the courage of students to appear in front of the class to read the results of their compositions.
