Implementation of a Project-Based Learning Model Assisted by a Digital Interactive Board to Improve Poetry Writing Skills of Fifth-Grade Students at Wates Public Elementary School, Tanjunganom District. Thesis. Master's Program in Indonesian Language and Literature Education, Graduate School, Universitas PGRI Madiun. Supervisors: (I) Prof. Dr. Muhammad Hanif, MM., M.Pd.; (II) Dr. Erlik Widiyani Styati, M.Pd. Keywords: Project-Based Learning, digital interactive board, poetry writing, PTK. This study aims to improve the poetry writing skills of fifth-grade students at Wates Public Elementary School, Tanjunganom, Nganjuk, through the implementation of a Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model assisted by a digital interactive board. The background to this research stems from the low student learning outcomes in poetry writing, where pre-research results showed that only 30% of students achieved mastery with an average score of 66.80. Learning also tends to be teacher-centered and underutilizes interactive digital media. This study used a qualitative approach with Classroom Action Research (CAR) implemented in two cycles. Each cycle included planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects were 10 fifth-grade students. Data were collected through observations of student activities, assessments of poetry writing skills, and documentation. The results showed that the implementation of PjBL with the assistance of a digital interactive board improved students' poetry writing skills. In the first cycle, the completion rate increased to 60% with an average score of 73.12. In the second cycle, completion increased significantly to 90% with an average score of 78.12, exceeding the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM) of 75. Furthermore, student activity also increased, from adequate in the first cycle to good and excellent in the second cycle. Students were more active, creative, and motivated in writing poetry through the use of annotation, visualization, and collaboration features on the digital interactive board. Thus, this study concludes that the Project Based Learning model assisted by digital interactive board media is effective in improving the poetry writing skills of fifth grade students. This model and media are recommended to be applied continuously in Indonesian language learning, especially creative writing materials.
