Abstract

Anggik Maghfiratul Ula. 2026. Application of Digital Wordwall Media to Improve Arithmetic Problem-Solving Skills for Third-Grade Elementary School Students. Thesis. Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas PGRI Madiun. Supervisors: (1) Dr. Fida Rahmantika Hadi, M.Pd., (2) Dr. Raras Setyo Retno, S.Pd., M.Pd. This research aims to improve students' mathematical problem-solving skills through the application of digital Wordwall media. This study is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles, with 17 students as subjects. Each cycle consists of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques used tests and observations, while data analysis was conducted quantitatively and qualitatively. The results showed an increase in students' mathematical problem-solving skills in each cycle. In the pre-cycle stage, the average student score was 67.3, with a learning completion percentage of 35%. After implementing the Wordwall media in Cycle I, the average grade point average increased to 73.6, with a learning completion rate of 59%. In Cycle II, the average grade point average increased significantly to 82.4, with a learning completion rate of 88%. These results indicate that the implementation of the Wordwall media was effective in improving students' mathematical problem-solving abilities. Therefore, it can be concluded that the use of digital Wordwall media can create more interactive mathematics learning and optimally improve student learning outcomes.
