Abstract
Catur Septayuana. 2025. The Use of Three-Dimensional Mind Map Media in Learning to Write Simple Sentences for Grade 2 Students of Krondonan 2 Elementary School, Gondang District, Bojonegoro Regency. Thesis. Master of Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program. PGRI Postgraduate School, University of Madiun (UNIPMA). Supervisor I: Prof. Dr. Muhammad Hanif, MM., M.Pd., Supervisor II: Dr. Kodrat Eko Putro Setiawan, M.Pd Keywords: three-dimensional mind mapping, simple sentence writing, Indonesian language, elementary school. This study aims to describe the planning, implementation, as well as obstacles and solutions in the use of three-dimensional mind mapping media in teaching simple sentence writing to second-grade students at SD Negeri Krondonan 2, Gondang District, Bojonegoro Regency. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach. The research subjects were 19 second-grade students and the classroom teacher, Ita Yuliana, S.Pd. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study indicate that the learning planning was systematically prepared in the form of a Kurikulum Merdeka teaching module (lesson plan), including learning objectives, learning activities, media, and assessment. The implementation of three-dimensional mind mapping media was effective in increasing students’ motivation, participation, and ability to write simple sentences. This media helped students organize ideas and produce coherent and meaningful sentences. The obstacles encountered included limited instructional time and differences in students’ abilities; however, these were addressed through simplifying the media design, group work, and intensive teacher guidance. It can be concluded that the use of three-dimensional mind mapping media is effective in teaching simple sentence writing to second-grade elementary school students.
