Abstract

This study aims to describe and explain the planning of role playing learning methods in learning to write descriptions for Class IV students of SDN 1 Nglawak, Kertosono District, Nganjuk Regency, the implementation of role playing learning methods in learning to write descriptions for Class IV students of SDN 1 Nglawak, Kertosono District, Nganjuk Regency, and the effectiveness of role playing learning methods in learning descriptive writing skills for Class IV students of SDN 1 Nglawak, Kertosono District, Nganjuk Regency. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with a case study method. The results of this study are the planning of the role playing learning method in learning descriptive text writing skills for class IV students of SDN 1 Nglawak, Kertosono District, Nganjuk Regency was carried out by the teacher well and efficiently because the teacher made a learning plan, The implementation of learning using the role playing method in learning descriptive writing skills for class IV students of SDN 1 Nglawak, Kertosono District, Nganjuk Regency ran smoothly and in accordance with the planning that had been made with the sequence of preliminary, core and closing activities, and the research conducted by SDN 1 Nglawak, Kertosono District, Nganjuk Regency on the use of the role playing method in descriptive writing skills for class IV students can be declared effective. This can be seen from the student's score which reached the predetermined KKM, namely 75.
