Abstract
Keywords:description,cooperative integrated and composition, and visual media This research aims to describe (1) the implementation of learning to writedescriptive paragraphs using the Cooperative Integrated And Composition (CIRC) method with visual media for fifth grade students at SDN 2 Babadan,Babadan District, Ponorogo Regency, (2) assessment of learning to write descriptive paragraphs using the Cooperative Integrated And method Composition (CIRC) with visual media for fifth grade students at SDN 2Babadan,Babadan District, Ponorogo Regency, (3) obstacles in learning to write descriptive paragraphs using the Cooperative Inegrated And Composition method (CIRC) with visual media for class V students at SDN 2 Babadan, Babadan District, Ponorogo Regency. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method.Data collection techniques in this research are observation, interviews and documentation. The technique used to analyze data in this research is the interactive model from Miles and Huberman. The results of this research, namely (1) the implementation of learning to write descriptive paragraphs using the cooperative integrated and composition (CIRC) method with visual media in class V students at SDN 2 Babadan,Babadan District,Ponorogo Regency has gone as planned, namely learning that is fun and takes place as planned. It is hoped that it will be good and conducive,because the teacher uses the CIRC method appropriately and the teacher uses language that is easy for students to understand,,2)student grades will be better. This is proven by the increase in student scores which shows that the scores before and after the CIRC learning method is applied are very different. Students' scores when the CIRC method is implemented can get a score above the KKM or the average for Indonesian language subjects, namely 75, even the students' scores are classified as very satisfactory and exceed the scores before the CIRC method was implemented,and 3) Obstacles faced by teachers in the form of inadequate facilities,For example, LCD projectors are not available in all classes, making it a little difficult for teachers if they want to use learning media which requires using an LCD projector and if they want to use learning mnedia they have to take turns with other classes. Meanwhile, the obstacles faced by students are internal factors that exist within the student and external factors that exist in the environment.
