Abstract

Galuh Prayoga Figgo Manggala. 2025. Design of Academic Information System at MAN 2 Ngawi Using Human Centered Design (HCD) Method, Universitas PGRI Madiun. Advisor (I) Mei Lenawati, S.Kom., M.Kom. (II) Andria, S.kom., M.Kom. This study aims to design a web-based academic information system at MAN 2 Ngawi using the Human Centered Design (HCD) approach with a prototyping method that involves users directly at each stage. The research applies a mix-method approach, combining qualitative and quantitative techniques. Data were collected through observation, interviews, literature review, and questionnaires distributed to 86 respondents, including teachers, students, school administrators, and staff. The evaluation results indicated that the system successfully addressed usability, interface clarity, and navigation efficiency. The majority of respondents selected “Agree” and “Strongly Agree” across all 10 questionnaire items. These results confirm that the designed prototype offers a positive user experience and meets the academic information needs within the school environment.
