Abstract
Rizky Khansa Nabila. 2025 Design of a Website-Based Academic Information System at the Caruban Computer Course Educational Institution. Thesis, Informatics Engineering Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas PGRI Madiun. Supervisors: (1) Emy Untari, S.Pd., M.Pd. (11) Yoga Prisma Yuda, S.Kom., M.Kom. The design of this website-based academic information system aims to help improve the efficiency and effectiveness of academic data management at the Caruban Computer Course Educational Institution. This information system is designed to address issues in academic processes that were previously carried out manually, such as recording student data, attendance, grades, and lesson plans. The software development method used is Rapid Application Development (RAD), which consists of four stages: requirements planning, user design, construction, and implementation. This system was built using the Laravel framework and MySQL database, and involves four types of users: students, teachers, admins, and directors. Key features include user data management, location-based attendance, grade input, announcement management, and automatic printing of academic reports. The tools used in developing this system were Visual Studio Code, XAMPP, and a browser for testing. Test results showed that the system performed as required and accelerated access and processing of academic data. Therefore, this system is expected to improve the institution's performance and professionalism in managing academic administration. Keywords: Academic Information System, Laravel, RAD, Website
