Abstract

CV. Sastro Wiyono, a company engaged in the trading of building materials, still relies on manual inventory recording using notebooks, which often leads to data errors and inaccurate stock management. This study aims to develop a web-based inventory system to facilitate real-time inventory recording and monitoring. The Rapid Application Development (RAD) method is used in system development, consisting of requirements planning, design, construction, and implementation phases. The system is built using TypeScript with NestJS as the backend, NextJS as the frontend, and MySQL as the database. The resulting system successfully assists administrators in recording item data, monitoring stock availability, and managing transaction records. Blackbox testing results indicate that all system functionalities operate optimally, achieving a 100% success rate across 32 test scenarios. This system improves the accuracy and speed of stock recording and enhances operational performance at CV. Sastro Wiyono.
