Abstract

This research aims to develop learning media in the form of digital-based interactive soundbooks in Indonesian language subjects for grade V elementary school students. The background of this research is the low interest of students in understanding the material. The development model used is the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) with a research and development approach. The soundbook media was developed using a digital platform and contains audio narration, visual illustrations, and interactive activities that are in accordance with the characteristics of students. The test subjects in this study were fifth grade students of SDN Gempol 1. The results of validation by media experts and material experts showed that the media developed were in the appropriate category. In addition, the results of the field trial showed positive responses from students and teachers, with increased interest in learning and understanding of Indonesian language materials, especially on the topic of abbreviations and acronyms. It can be concluded that this digital-based interactive soundbook media is worthy used as an Indonesian language learning tool in elementary schools. This media not only increases students' participation in learning, but also enriches the variety of teaching methods that can be used by teachers.
