Abstract
The manual financial management practices at IPAIR.SOLUTIONS give rise to various issues, such as a high risk of recording errors, delays in financial report preparation, and difficulties in obtaining accurate financial information quickly. These conditions hinder effective decision-making, creating a need for a system capable of managing financial data in an integrated manner. This research aims to design and develop a web-based financial management information system to facilitate the recording of income, expenses, and transactions, as well as the preparation of financial reports for IPAIR.SOLUTIONS. The Waterfall development methodology was employed, encompassing the stages of requirements analysis, system design, coding, testing, implementation, and maintenance. The system was developed using PHP and MySQL, with system design modeled via Unified Modeling Language (UML)—specifically Use Case, Activity, Class, and Sequence diagrams. Black Box Testing was conducted to ensure all system functions operate in accordance with user requirements. The results demonstrate that the developed information system automates financial management processes, improves transaction recording accuracy, accelerates the generation of financial reports for specific periods, and simplifies cash flow monitoring. Consequently, this web-based financial management information system enhances the effectiveness, efficiency, and precision of financial management at IPAIR.SOLUTIONS.’
