Abstract

This research uses the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method, which was conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were children aged 5–6 years at TK IT Harapan Ummat Pangkur. The data collection techniques used included observation, and documentation. The data were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively to determine the improvement in children's expressive language skills. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that role-playing activities can improve the expressive language skills of children aged 5–6 years at TK IT Harapan Ummat Pangkur. Role-playing activities provide children with opportunities to communicate, interact, develop vocabulary, and express their ideas and feelings in an enjoyable learning environment.
