Abstract

The use of the latest electronic technology has produced many modern and complex information media. E-encyclopædia can help in documenting knowledge of the results of soil vegetation research around the Plalar Water Tear Source. Plalar Water Springs are located in Dusun Gligi, Kepel District, Kare District, Madiun District, East Java. This is a quantitative study that uses the double plot method in observation and to identify plant species that make up floor vegetation. The research was carried out in the area around the Plalar Water Source with an area of observation area of about 250 m2 by placing a plot of a total of 25 plot sizes of 2 m x 2 m (4 m2) by random or random sampling. The living floor vegetation around the Plalar Water Springs consists of growth forms of herbs, nails, terna, bushes, lianas, molluscs, grasses, and persians. The eight growthforms of the floors consist of 28 families and there are 48 species. The highest critical value index (INP) for species on growth forms of bushes, molluscs, and thorns successively is: Dendrocnide stimulans (L.f.) Chew with INP of 16.51%, Rhizogonium distichum with INPs of 14.31%, Homalomena pendula (Blume) Bakh.f. with INPS of 11.95%. Growth forms bush have an important role in storing and managing water. The average environmental factor around the Plalar Water Eye Source is the air temperature of 26,440C, air humidity of 76,24%, soil pH of 6,8, soil moisture of 61,8%, and light intensity of 881,36 lx, the average result of these environmental factors is still normal and ideal for floor vegetation growth. The e-encyclopedia is based on the results of the analysis of the vegetation of the floor around the Plalar Water Source, obtaining a presentation of 87.7% of media and material validators with excellent criteria and elevation of student responses obtains a presentation of 81% with excellent qualifications, so long as it can be said that this e- encyclopedia deserves to be used as a teaching material of students in schools to support learning based on local intelligence research.
