Abstract

ABSTRACT NOVI NURUL LATIFAH, 2023, Improving Social Studies Learning Outcomes Through the Snowball Throwing Model Assisted with Learning Video Media for Class IV Students at SDI Fathul Huda Bendo, Padas District, Ngawi Regency, Academic Year 2023-2024. Thesis. Madiun: Indonesian Language and Literature Master's Study Program, Postgraduate Faculty, PGRI Madiun University. Supervisor (I) Prof. Dr. H. Parji, M.Pd, (II) Dr. Muhammad Hanif, M.M., M.Pd. Keywords: quality of learning activities, learning outcomes, social studies This research aims to analyze improving the quality of learning activities and social studies learning outcomes using the snowball throwing method using learning video media for Class 4 students at SDI Fathul Huda Bendo, Padas District, Ngawi Regency. The research method uses an emancipatory action research approach and a type of classroom action research. The data source used was 28 Class 4 students at SDI Fathul Huda Bendo, Padas District, Ngawi Regency. Data collection in this research was carried out using observation techniques and social studies tests. The data analysis technique in this research is the Miles & Huberman qualitative descriptive model. The research results found that (1) Social studies learning activities can be improved by implementing the snowball throwing method using learning video media for Class 4 students at SDI Fathul Huda Bendo, Padas District, Ngawi Regency. (2) Social studies learning outcomes can be improved by implementing the snowball throwing method using learning video media for Class 4 students at SDI Fathul Huda Bendo, Padas District, Ngawi Regency.
