Abstract
ABSTRACT EFFORTS OF MADIUN CITY'S FORKOPIMDA (BABINSA AND BABINKAMTIBMAS) IN MINIMIZING CONFLICTS BETWEEN MATRIAL ART COLLEGES IN MANGUHARJO DISTRICT This research aims to find out how FORKOPIMDA (BABINSA and BABINKAMTIBMAS) Madiun City are trying to minimize conflicts between Matrial Art schools in Manguharjo District. For the level of security in Manguharjo District, Madiun City, which is often affected by conflicts between groups of Matrial Art schools. Through a qualitative approach and interviews with FORKOPIMDA (BABINSA and BABINKAMTIBMAS), community leaders, and representatives of Matrial Art colleges, research can take various preventive steps and will identify steps that can reduce conflict with the aim of preventing potential clashes between college members in the Manguharjo City District environment Madiun. The research method used is Qualitative Research. The research was carried out in coordination. This research was carried out by collecting data through library research, field research in the form of observations, in-depth interviews and document research. The results of this research show that the role of the Manguharjo District Government and the community has been running as it should in accordance with their respective duties and functions in making policies. The government's handling has been neutral without discriminating between each other. The results of this research refer to the problem formulation, so it can be concluded that the efforts of FORKOPIMDA (BABINSA and BABINKAMTIBMAS) Madiun City in minimizing Conflicts between Pencak Silat universities in Manguharjo District can provide positive results. Programs such as joint patrols, dialogue between groups, and the socialization of national values have succeeded in reducing the intensity of Conflict. Apart from this, the response from the PSHT and PSHW Management also showed a very positive response to the efforts made by FORKOPIMDA. They realize the importance of maintaining unity and unity, as well as avoiding all forms of violence and Conflict. However, challenges such as the influence of social media and the social dynamics of society still need to be taken into account. Keywords: FORKOPIMDA, Conflict, Matrial Art.
