Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of non-cash payments, interest rates and inflation on the demand for money in Indonesia for the 2018-2023 period. The type of research used in this research is quantitative, while the analysis tool used is SPSS 25.0. Sampling in this study used saturated samples. The sample used was 72 months obtained from time series data from January 2018-December 2023. Based on statistical test results, it shows that non-cash payments have a positive and significant effect on the demand for money in Indonesia for the 2018-2023 period. Interest rates have a negative and significant effect on the demand for money in Indonesia for the 2018-2023 period. Inflation has a negative and significant effect on the demand for money in Indonesia for the 2018-2023 period. Non-cash payments, interest rates and inflation simultaneously influence the demand for money in Indonesia for the 2018-2023 period.
